We talk to many people throughout the day. Family members, friends, acquaintances, work people are more or less talked to. But we don’t think much about the words we say to ourselves. But how we talk to ourselves can have a huge impact on our minds and our daily lives. When doing something wrong, many people say to themselves, I can’t do anything, it won’t happen by me, I always make mistakes. Repeating these words can reduce self-confidence. This is where positive self-talk comes in.

Positive Self-Talk doesn’t mean talking sweetly to yourself all the time. This means talking to yourself realistically when there is a problem or a mistake without belittling yourself. You have to understand your mistake, and give yourself a chance to try again.

Suppose you fail in doing something. Then if you say in your mind, I can do this job, otherwise the matter ends there. But if you say, it didn’t work this time, maybe you can do better if you try again, then your mind is given a chance to try again. This small change can often make a big difference in performance.

Before you start positive self-talk, pay attention to your inner words. What do you say to yourself when you make a mistake? If someone else makes the same mistake, do you say the same thing to yourself? Most of the time, we can easily accept the mistakes of others but become very difficult about our own mistakes.

No. You may not be good at something, but that dodoeean you’re bad at everything. A mistake doesn’t mean you’re a failure.

You can use short sentences while talking to yourself. For example, I’m trying to learn from the fact that everything can be done in one day. These words may sound very common. But if you practice talking to yourself like this on a regular basis, it can make it a little easier to get through difficult times.

Another thing is that reality cannot be forgotten while talking to yourself. Positive SelfTalk doesn’t mean always telling yourself,I can do everything, I have no problem in my life, in fact, if there is a problem, it is necessary to admit it. Rather it can be said, I am having a hard time now, but I can try to solve the problems one by one. It does not give false assurance to one’s mind, nor does one have to break down completely.

You can practice saying a few positive words to yourself after waking up in the morning. You can stand in front of the mirror and say today I will take care of myself today I will put unnecessary pressure on myself. But if you do it regularly, it can gradually become normal.

Take a moment instead of immediately blaming yourself if something goes wrong at work. Take a deep breath and think about where you actually went wrong. Then tell yourself, I made a mistake here, next time I will look at this place a little better. It also understood the mistake, and my self-confidence was not completely lost.

Comparing yourself to other people can also be a big obstacle to positive self-talk. We often compare the good times in other people’s lives with the bad times in our own lives. Seeing someone living a good life on social media can make it seem like everyone is doing well, only I’m lagging behind. Then you can say to yourself, why can I can, instead you can say to yourself, his life is like his, my path is like mine. I will move as much as I can from my place

You also need to remind yourself of your good sides. We easily remember our mistakes but often forget our good deeds. Take a few minutes at the end of the day to reflect on what you did well today. Maybe you helped someone, finished a task on time, took some time for yourself or kept calm in a difficult situation. Learn to appreciate the little things.

Positive Self-Talk isn’t just for good times. Rather, it is needed more in times of sadness, failure, fear or any other difficult time. Then talk to yourself as if you were talking to a good friend. Treat yourself like a good friend who will point out your mistakes, but not insult you.

But with Positive Self-Talking will not solve all the problems in life. There can be many reasons behind anxiety, depression or difficult situations. In that case, besides just talking to yourself, it may be necessary to talk to a close person or take the help of a professional if necessary.

The words we say to ourselves need to be given some importance. Putting yourself down every day, dwelling on your mistakes, or blaming yourself for everything doesn’t solve any problems. Rather, it is more important to learn from mistakes, learn to try yourself and give yourself some time during difficult times. Just remember one thing when talking to yourself starting todayou can make mistakes, you can have bad days,You may fail in any work. But that doesmean youre done. There is always an opportunity to try again. Talk to yourself in such a way as to give that opportunity. Remember to love yourself, no one else will love you, so always try to give yourself time.
